Internship in CFD Department

Your tasks:

  • Data preparation and CFD simulations  (coronary artery flow) 
  • Simulation results reporting
  • Creating and managing simulation technical documentation
  • Creating tests (including automatic tests) of the existing code responsible for conducting and processing simulation results
  • Analysis and validation of the obtained results using experimental data
  • Develop suggestions and actions to improve computational performance
  • Automation of calculations using cloud resources
  • Cooperation with other departments in the company, in particular with AI and the Clinical Research department

What we expect from you:

  • Higher technical education
  • Knowledge of Python
  • Knowledge of the Linux environment
  • Knowledge of numerical methods or modeling / performing computer simulations
  • English at a communicative level (B2)

Nice to have:

  • Interests in the area of ​​biomedicine
  • Knowledge of C++
  • Knowledge of fluid mechanics
  • Programming skills (object-oriented programming, optimization)
  • Knowledge of tools for performing flow calculations (OpenFoam preferred, but any other tool would be also helpful)
  • A solid theoretical foundation in fields such as: mathematics or applied physics, statistics, solving differential equations, bioinformatics, deep learning / AI
